Sidare-zakura (Prunus pendula f. pendula) flowers in Daigo-ji (Kyoto)
"Shidare-zakura" means "weeping cherry."
The numberless white flowers of this old sakura tree seemed to be floating quietly in the fragrant spring air like unseasonal snowstorm freezed in midair.
