Sui-ren (water lily) flower: Kita-kamakura

The gentle morning rain passed over and left gleaming waterdrops behind on the flower and leaves of water lily.

Just after the period when Sui-ren is in bloom, the rainy season arrives here to foster the lively growth of every living thing.

This precious flower of Sui-ren seems to be a beautiful manifestation of the mercifulness which this universe has on us in the season of a blessed rain.

In the shade of trees, the small violet flowers of Iwatabako are blooming inconspicuously on the moss-covered rock surface.
