A Tsumagurohyomon (Argyreus hyperbius) butterfly in Engaku-ji

The vivid leopard-like yellow of this male Tsumagurohyomon butterfly was perfectly in harmony with the light violet of the full-blown Shion (Aster tataricus) flowers in the bright sunlight.

The moment of wonder often occurs in such a way in the brilliantly colored gardens of October.
